Before your surgery, it’s crucial to verify your coverage with your insurance carrier. As they might be a component of your care, now is a good time to find out if physical therapy and durable medical equipment are covered by your plan. Your surgery's authorization will be handled by Integrity Spine & Orthopedics. You may be contacted regarding a surgical deposit, and the facility where your treatment is scheduled will reach out to notify you about any additional expenses for the facility, anesthesia, or radiology. These charges are independent of those of Integrity Spine & Orthopedics. Integrity Spine & Orthopedics tries to make sure you are fully aware of the financial requirements before your surgery.
For Hospital Procedures
You will speak with a surgical services nurse at this appointment to discuss your medical history, go over pre-surgery instructions, and finish any tests that your doctor and anesthesiologist have prescribed. The tests have to be completed no later than 30 days before your procedure.
For Total Joint Replacements
The hospital will contact you to schedule this class, and it will be on the same day as your Pre-Admission Testing Appointment.
