Michael C. Weiss, D.O., FAOAO

Medical Director, Chief of Surgery, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon

Dr. Weiss is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery as well as Fellowship trained in Spine Surgery.  He brings to Integrity Spine and Orthopedics nearly three decades of experience in orthopedics, including arthroscopy, major spine surgery, and a broad range of laser and minimally invasive spine procedures. Following more than 15 years of practice as an orthopedic surgeon in South Florida, Dr. Weiss joined the Laser Spine Institute, where he spent the next fourteen years.  There he sought additional training and subspecialized in minimally invasive spine surgery. At Integrity Spine and Orthopedics, Dr. Weiss serves as Chief Medical Director and Chief of Surgical Operations.

Dr. Weiss received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. He completed his internship and residency at Michigan State University. Dr. Weiss has served on the Pain Management Medical Advisory Board of GE Healthcare, Ltd. He is a published author and a member of the team that developed protocols for AAAHC Centers of Excellence in Spine Surgery and Joint Replacement. Dr. Weiss shares best practices on spine surgery and pain management. This includes being an investigator in many clinical studies and collaborating with industry leaders through consulting and designing medical devices.

Mark Willits, M.D.

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Mark Willits is a fellowship-trained, board-certified pediatric and adult orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive (endoscopic) spine and extremities trauma surgery. Dr. Willits performs interventional pain management procedures and offers conscious sedation for patients who are anxious about needles and would like to be sedated during the procedure.

Dr. Willits obtained his Bachelors’ Degree from University of Texas in Dallas and his MD from University of Texas in Houston. Dr. Willits then completed his orthopedic surgeon residency program at the John Peter Smith Hospital in the level II trauma center. Afterward, Dr.Willits obtained his pediatric orthopedic fellowship working in the level I trauma center in the Nationwide Children’s Hospital. While studying to become a surgeon and during his years of residency, Dr. Willits served as a Lieutenant Commander for the Fleet Naval Medical Unit (2004-2013).

In 2011, Dr. Willits became the director of pediatric orthopedic surgery for the children’s hospital in Tulsa, OK and remained director for four years.

Dr. Willits moved to Florida in 2018 and has focused on orthopedics for both adults and pediatrics. He specializes in endoscopic spine surgeries and interventional pain procedures. Since moving to Florida he has conducted over 5000 clinic visits, 400 operations and 2000 injections. He is one of only three surgeons in the United States that does cervical endoscopic surgery.

Dr. Willits is a loving father to two sons and two daughters and resides in Cocoa with his spouse.
