Dr. Dressander is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 15 years of experience in private practice treating trauma, sports medicine and general orthopedic injuries. He completed his medical education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his Bachelor of Science. From there he received his Master of Science degree and obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from Rush Medical School in 1997. He then went on to complete his residency orthopedic surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Madison, WI which he completed in 2002.
Dr. Dressander specializes exclusively in general orthopedic surgery and regenerative sports medicine. As a pioneer in orthopedic innovation, Dr. Dressander has helped train other orthopedic surgeons throughout the United States on the latest diagnostic arthroscopy called needle arthroscopy. This cutting-edge scope allows the surgeon to visualize the patients’ joints in a clinic setting. His minimally invasive approach to both arthroscopic and total joint replacement surgeries greatly reduces downtime and speeds up recovery.
